I am here to help you realize that you deserve to live your best life. Let get into the step I took to live my better life.

In order to live your best life, you must believe you deserve your best life. It’s so easy to find your self in a place of self-doubt and even self-sabotage. This always happens when you feel like things that you have done means that you don’t deserve your best life. This was hard for me to understand for a long time because I was so negative about how I felt about myself. The truth is that everything is energy. If you are surrounded by negative energy then it will continue to feel like everything is going wrong all the time. The flip side to that is that when you concentrate on positivity then great things will keep happening because you attracted it. So get out of the pity party and start believing you deserve it!

The grass isn’t greener!

Being a millennial means that you live breathe and sleep social media. Nine times out of ten you check your phone first thing in the morning when you wake up. And you can’t-fool me because you’re not checking the news you’re looking at what your friends did last night and who was wearing what. If you are naturally a nosey person like I am then social media can rule your life. Social media can hinder you from living your best life because it causes you to compare your self to others false reality. We post only the best image of ourselves on social media. It’s not a good representation of who a person is and what they may be going through. So the first step to living your best life is to not compare your journey to your peers. Learn the social media isn’t a guide to who you are or what you should be doing.

Look inside.

Living your best life starts with you completing some soul-searching. When was the last time you sat down and sorted out your feeling and emotions? I know that my mind is always racing which make it hard to listen to my inner self. There are many names for this some say holy spirit, the universe, or inner self. No matter what you call it you have to tap into. This can be done by taking the time to clear your mind daily. I take 5 minutes daily to clear my mind by meditating first thing in the morning. This lets me start my day with a clear mind and gives me time to listen to my inner self. I have been able to sort out my emotions and learn more about faith and truth during this process.

Say No

You may be wonder what saying No has to do with living your best life? Everything I tell ya. Everything. Most of us are uncomfortable with saying no. No leads to rejection and when you desire to be liked by everyone rejection is your worst enemy.

Imagine if when your friend asked you to go to the event that you didn’t want to go to you said no instead of standing them up. What one no could have solved has now lead you to feel guilty for not showing up. Saying no doesn’t mean that you don’t like someone or that you don’t care about their feelings. Saying No protects you from being in unwanted situations.

Living your best life starts with knowing what you want and what you don’t then don’t compromise. You and your feeling matter. So don’t make an excuse start saying no to things you don’t want to do.

Do what makes you happy!

Do you remember the last time you had a good time doing something?  If the answer to that question is no. then you have some homework to do.

Living your best life in simple turns is you taking time to do more of what makes you feel alive and less of the things that kill your mojo. We all go through seasons of sacrifice but your sacrifice should never be your happiness.

Don’t know what makes you happy? There’s a solution to that as well. Start trying new things until you’re doing the things that set you on fire. Go to the local food event, Try that new dance class, learn to play the piano. No matter your age does the things that make you happy. Life is to short to not enjoy it.
